Sony mobile 此次發表會中，向台港媒體說明 Xperia X 系列的特色，而相較往年，這次在介紹產品特色包括說明市場概況時，該公司會不經意地拿手機與蘋果 iPhone、三星 Galaxy S 系列相比，而拍攝效能上向來都是該公司的一大強項。記者在日本東京進一步針對 Xperia X 系列當中最高階的 X Performance 與 iPhone 6s、Galaxy S7 edge 進行初步拍攝比較，提供給讀者們參考。
蘋果公司旗下的 iPhone 產品，在拍照方面就是操作簡單、校色略微正確，iPhone 6s 配備 1200 萬畫素主鏡頭，光圈 F2.2，廣角端 29mm，感光元件大小為 1/3 吋，感光元件像素為 1.22 µm，沒有OIS防手震，具備雙暖色補光燈。
三星 S7 edge 配備 1200 萬畫素主鏡頭，光圈 F/1.7 是這幾隻手機當中最大的，感光元件大小為 1/2.6 吋，感光元件像素大小為 1.4 µm，內建 OIS 防手震，雙暖色補光燈，具備雙擊快啟功能。
索尼XP 此次少了 G 鏡頭加持，配備的是 2300 萬畫素主鏡頭，光圈 F/2.0，廣角端 24mm，採用相位檢測自動對焦、單LED閃光燈，感光元件尺寸為 1/2.3 吋，具備追蹤對焦、0.6 秒快啟快拍功能。
