美國德州一位男子比利（Billy By）最近在推特上發佈一張照片引發網友熱議。照片中，一名中年男子呆站在販售甜甜圈的櫃檯裡，垂頭喪氣守著空蕩蕩的店面，一旁架上還有滿滿的、沒賣出去的甜甜圈。

比利在推特上寫道，「我爸很傷心，因為沒有人來光顧他新開的甜甜圈店」，文末還加上一個哭泣的表情符號。雖然比利最後留下地址，希望有好心人路過進來捧場一下，但他仍然沒有抱太大的期望。

沒想到，這則推特發佈沒多久，便被33萬網友瘋狂轉發，網友不忍心看著「被美味甜甜圈包圍的孤獨老闆」，紛紛留言表示，「住在德州的誰都可以，去幫他開張一下好嗎，求你們了」、「那個身影看得我好難過，希望未來能夠生意興隆」、「我不認識這個男人，但我好想看他笑啊」。就這樣，網友開始成群結隊湧向「比利的甜甜圈店」，大肆掃購架上的甜甜圈。

到場的網友表示，當天這家人真的很忙，忙到連媽媽都出來幫忙；也有多網友稱讚甜甜圈非常好吃。當晚打烊時分，比利貼出與老爸的合影，兩人笑容滿面看著鏡頭。比利在社群上更新訊息，「我們剛剛賣掉了甜甜圈和哥拉奇（kolache）！你們真的太棒了！謝謝每個站出來支持當地小店的人，這對我的家人來說意義重大。」
